Just been looking at this on line; was amused to see that the candidate for the British National Party is Carlos Cortiglia. Sounds more like the Mafia candidate to me.
A nice little aside from one of the commentators: "if you find yourself with a small pen instead of a small pencil, you may be in Argos or a bookmaker's".

The BNP candidate for the Liverpool mayoral election was from Wales!
Maybe he should practice what his party preaches - who does he think he is, coming over here, taking our mayoral jobs? :-)
