Here goes! When noticing a couple of people have mentioned that a garden forum would be a good idea, I tend to agree. There is so much to do at this time of year and so many newcomers to gardening, it would be a great idea. Keen gardeners will be eagerly planting their vedgetables for the first time.Others will be wondering what to do with daffodils when they have finished flowering, and some may be looking for new plants to grow in a shady spot. How to make a compost heap, the best time to cut back shrubs and trees or even help to identify plants. Also include any wildlife such a hedgehogs, birds and bees.(or faeries) Who knows, we could start a bartering system: 6 apples for a lb beans.! We could all have a lot of fun and it's a topic which our friends in foreign parts could also be part of. Tell us what you grow and when. How we can cope better with drought or severe frosts and extreme cold. Let's enjoy!
