Hi I would like to buy either a Jack Russel or Staffie pups to replace my Staffie that I lost to a brain tumour over xmas does anyone know of proper breeders in the area I dont want to buy a dog that has been bred just to make money as temperament is vital as I have 3 young childeren.

Thanks pegsgirl but adoption is not an option I did phone a pound in chester and they advised me against it because of the kids.

try this website: www.pets4homes.co.ukyou still have to be careful and check out the breeders thoroughly. We got our pup from a lady who was breeding her dog once and we were able to visit her, the mum and the pups a few times before we took ours home.

Thanks I have looked at that site but have been in touch with the Kennel club and have been given a list of assured breeders just need to sort through and pick the right one.
