I've sat here reading this and the names popping out at me are a real blast from the past.

I spent a lot of my younger/teenage years with Andy Cannonball, Gary Sylvester amongst others. One lad from Upton, Darrin BedBug, is still my best mate 28 years later.

God there's some memories in my head now smile

"brassneck Nocky"........ lol

I used to chat, overnight, with a breaker called "Flakesie", or "Cornflake". His name was Steve. He was friends with another Steve, called "Inspector Gadget", as I recall.

Has anybody heard him on the CB? Has anybody any knowledge of where he is, now, at all?

He was okay, that guy!

Oh wow , just read this and know ALOT of the Handles .. my brother bought me mine as i didnt go out of the house much and i loved it .. shame i had to ruin the experience and meet my exhusband on it lol
Handle was 'Replay' i was based in Hoylake in the 80's and then got it out of mothballs in the early 90's but only found truckers on it then.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL WHO ARE CONTEMPLATING A RETURN TO CB RADIO, AND TO THOSE WHO ALREADY HAVE!

CB CAN BE REVIVED, BUT IT NEEDS TIME AND READINESS, I'D GUESS!

TAKE CARE, ALL UPCOMING BREAKERS!

(And, to Lin (The Sea Horse)...Godd Bless your soul! Ten-ten, 'til we do it again!)
