That van in your avatar looks a bit suss!!!! A disgraceful comment. Just because his avatar looks like the Gary Glitter-mobile. There seems to be quite a few of these types of threads on Wiki at the moment. I wonder how many of these stories are just made up and prey on parent's fears of the "evil paedos on ever corner". I'm not saying this one is, just that most parent's fears are totally disproportionate compared to the reality. Most kids are more likely to be attacked/abused by their family/person they know than some complete stranger. Also, the amount of children murdered by complete strangers has hardly changed since the 1950s.

In answer to a few of the above posts, thats all the information I have about the van and what happened. Hopefully they will get these sickos.
Im glad I posted the original topic as you will find nothing about in the local papers. It just shows you theres alot of these idiots around and more of us should be aware of them.

These news items keep on getting dragged off topic like this one has and I, for one, think that the mods need to get tougher and nip it in the bud - it is getting ridiculous.
You wanna crack jokes, that is all very fine and dandy but these news topics are surely not an appropriate place for it (not unless the news topic itself is inherently funny, which topics about perverts going after schoolgirls or schoolboys clearly are anything but...
