I've got some gross tastes GMF, but I'm still here so it can't be doing me too bad. We don't do takeaways though unless we're really stuck somewhere. Wish there were some decent restaurants handy though because we fancy a meal out now and again but without the travelling (need to have a bevvy as well).

Haha I wish I could like foods like that, I'm so picky that there's only a few things I can eat!
No I'm not a fan of takeaway myself! But meals out are always good, there's the problem of finding one you'll like too so you don't waste your money, which is why we always end up going to the same place cos we know we like it! Hm you could get the train somewhere tease

Hi Bandy,we go to the Riverhill quite often as it is within walking distance, lovely food beautifully cooked,it's just a shame that they haven't changed the menu since the old Queen was on the throne, but if you have a winning formula why change it?Have you ever tried Lino's in Hoylake?Definitely a cut above.Enjoy your food wherever you go.

Today i am cooking a curry in the slow cooker:

Maysan mild curry paste
table spoon of crushed chillies
2 sticks of cellery
2 large mushrooms
3 cloves of garlic
1 large onion
1 pack of diced turkey
hadfull of coconut flakes
handfull of almond flakes

hopefully will take about 4-5 hours and i am gonna serve it with rice and might finish me spiceys prawn crackers off if i can be bothered getting the fryer out.

perfect way to deal with this cold weather.
