My first car was a 1992 K reg Suzuki Samurai sport. I bought it for launching the boat my bro and I share. It came with the standard 1.3l Petrol engine. It had twin carbs so accelerated off the mark pretty well, and sounded good too. I quickly got into the off roading game (What's the point in having a 4x4 if you're not gonna use it?!!). Soon I was hooked and the modding bug began, but not the kind of modding bug people usually get! This is my baby after a few minor mods, including front fogs, side steps, and bigger all terrain tyres: And here's some more recent pics: List of mods (there is more just can't remember it!): 1.7D engine Transplant Opel Manta gearbox Performance clutch Fully custom designed free flow exhaust Induction kit Lowered ratios Braided brake hoses 3.5" of suspension lift Drop Shackles for better articulation off road 15x8 Weller 8 spoke rims 31"x10.5" Cooper Discoverer STT Tyres Side steps/bars Roof lights wired to main beam Steel tubular front bumper Ongoing paint job Clarion CD head unit Kenwood uprated speakers and rears fitted 2x200w subs

Forgot to mention the most recent mod, it's a nicely curved back door, after being pulled backwards into a tree on the end of a rope! Will pull one off a scrapper soon, but the other repairs to get it roadworthy again will come first. (Needs a new engine throwing in as this one's been drowned several times, and both axles have severe oil leaks! I have spares, so will get them fitted asap).

Two more mods I've just remembered:
3/4" Wheel spacers Plastic wing mirror glass (It bends rather than smashes when the jeep lands on it)

Finally got hold of an engine today, £50 from an ice cream man in Liverpool Just need a decent starter motor, then I can get in touch with a good mechanic friend of mine and see if he's up for the challenge of fitting it... along with the new axles <img border="0" alt="[cool / shades]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions067.gif" />
