Quite a bit to begin with. It was a group of us who took part in some part time gardening courses at Wirral Environmental Network (Sandon Buildings, Falkland Road) Our tutor helped us apply for the land (which the council lets us use free of charge so long as its kept well maintained), we had a small amount of funding from WEN and were helped by the Wirral wardens(now gone due to council cuts)we also applied for funding from Riverside Housing for the steel lockup and the polycarb greenhouse  theres a core group of about ten of us who keep it maintained and fundraise there supposed to be a lot more stuff like this happening in Wirral under the new 'incredible edbles' initiative but we havent heard much more about it... probably down to more Council cuts.
