Hello everyone, ive not done any of the m.a.r railway in the week as last weekend and before i had two T.I.A,s {mini strokes}, And with going to hospital for m.r.i scans ive not had a chance to do anything.Anyway this bank holiday feeling a bit better me and ann have managed to do some of the layout, we have made the layout slightly smaller and changed the track layout so now the m.a.r railway has two circuit loops and sidings and a bit inside the cafe. Also ive stated to build a tunnel down one side, so we have done a bit for now cheers mike and ann X.... p.s spannerhead ive not had time to find a woman for you yet?.

Thanks everyone, As i say me and ann managed to do a bit yesterday/today. I will do more,the tunnel is being made out of the wood frame from the canvas wardrobe we had and cardboard from a t.v box, so light and quick to make we might even see if we can fit a coal mine in, as ann,s late grandad {albert} was a coal miner. anyway cheers for now mike/ann x..

well hello everyone, Well we managed to do a bit more of the tunnel today, I used some cardboard from a tele box then stuck it on with some old silicone sealant i had lying around {a few years} and for the sides of the tunnel i used some again thin cardboard i had {i dont know where from?}. We went to to rightway and got the cheapest decorators caulk and caulking gun and i stuck the sides on. Then tested the railcar around then into the tunnel it didn,t hit anything inside {which was good},but the railcar jammed a piece of ballast in its gearbox and now its making a right racket! another job now. cheers for now mike/ann x..

hi pinz when your trying to build a private railway and your tunnel is cheaply made and i dont have any sash clamps or proper tools?. im getting everyone to park their cars male/female/kids/animals/you name it they drive it! against the wall to make it stick! {i hope} . cheers mike/ann..x..
