There have been quite a lot of emergency vehicles screaming in between Birkenhead and Wallasey this afternoon. Could hear them but not see them from where I was.
There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. They've been forming up the teams at Wallasey and sending them over to liverpool, probably going through the tunnel.

The 6 riot vans have just come screaming through the Wallasey tunnel. There is now something going on at Gorsey Lane but think it might be unrelated to the vans maybe just an accident but they have blocked the road off.

There is an ambulance attending a house on Oxton Road (L), the vans turned right and headed straight down Poulton Road, I passed Gorsey Lane lights on foot and nothing too suspect appears to be gonig on.
