KITES OVER THE MERSEY & WIRRAL ROLLER DERBY BBQ - SUN 12th JUNE

Hiya! ♥ The Whipiteres are coinciding their next BBQ fundraiser with the spectacular & stunningl festival:

"KITES ACROSS THE MERSEY" info:

"Kiite flyers from Britain and across the world will attend the Wirral International Kite Festival on 11th & 12th June at The Dips, New Brighton.
The event will take place from 11 am to 4.30pm and ia a two day event for all the family with a variety of spectacular show kites on display, including artistic kites, giant inflatable kites, sports kites and power kites. There will also be a kite-making workshop for all those have-a-go fliers! The cost for the Kite Making workshop will be £1.50 donation to Visiton 4 Children. There is also a children's funfair, trade stands and food court".

♥ Our BBQ will start at 12pm on the Sunday - veggie options available - delicious cupcakes for sale - free kids face painting ...

and most importantly ... YOUR LOVELY LOCAL ROLLER DERBY TEAM ♥

From New Brighton Station - turn left coming out of station, walk to bottom of hill until on parade, then left. keep walking until you see ... kites ... we will be by the big boulders on The Dips - come say hi!!! ♥

TBH Matt I'm glad of the excuse to do nothing today. I've driven 600 miles in 2 days getting home at 10.30 last night so I'm pretty cream crackered

i was going to go too but i cant see much point now!! and the sun was cracking the flags at 6.30am!

I went but the weather was crap at the time and to honest I went last year too and I think its not really the experience to repeat every year if you know what I mean.

oh god i get bored easy ha so maybe defo not the place to go if your on your own aswell lol

If you think I was bored Lalaland was even less impressed. She woke up when we passed the cup cake stall though.
