Police helicopter going up and down near the river in New ferry,very low.
About 10 mins ago.

So it was a life boat,i saw it out my bedroom window by the esplanade in new ferry it wasn't half motoring.
Every dog has its day!

i was walking the dog down in new-b as it was getting put into the water. then 5mins after i saw the police helicopter and lots of sirens could be all to do with the same thing?? god knows

sounds like,boat and helicopter headed out towards speke and disappeared.

Apparently there was a large congregation of coastguard, fire brigade and police on rock ferry slipway. seems a man had jumped in off the slip on the in coming tide. I have no idea whether he was found!!

that would be why the lifeboat was out aswell then!! i hope the man was found safe. i thought they had stopped the coastgaurd service?? sure it said something like that in the mail the other day
