Well, it's been a while, but I've come into contact with the dreaded Windows!!!!!
I've been asked to take a look at an old Tosh (how apt) laptop for the tennis club, it was failing to boot and being a general nightmare.
I forced it to boot from CD and did a fresh install of XP Pro and that was fine. But the issue now is that I can't connect to the wireless and I can't connect using a hard wired ethernet cable, the drivers aren't there.
I've searched high and low for them, and tried the Toshiba website too, I downloaded what I thought I needed but no such luck. Ideally, as I'm now in the office, a getting the wifi up and running is a priority as I have Driver Genius Pro and Driver Checker which scans the laptop and downloads and updates what is needed etc.
Vicious circle though, as I can't get onto the internet to do it in the first place!
I used to consider myself quite computer savvy on Windows back in the day but I've used Macs now for about 8 years I reckon and this is the first time I've had to try and work on one.
Last time I used a Windows PC, XP was new! So probably back in 2002?
It's Windows XP Pro SP3 and the laptop specs are;
Intel Core 2 / T5500 @ 1.66GHz / 1GB of ram.
See attached screenshot, if it helps? It shows what I'm missing.
If anyone can help me out today, so I can get this laptop back to them tonight it would be much appreciated.
Cheers

Cheers, I'll take a look, although having already tried this, I couldn't get it to work.
Why, oh why, can't they just stick a downloadable disc on the site with all drivers as from the factory!?

Does this help by showing what my problem devices are?

Currently just tapping these vendor and product codes in to see which drivers I need. Fingers crossed.

I surprise myself sometimes, I just went to pcidatabase.com and typed in the vendor and product codes as shown above and then googled for the correct drivers.
Why didn't I just in the first place?
