Hi all
Does anyone know if you can use a BT vision box as just a freeview box? I have one here and wont let me connect unless im using a BT homehub? Anyone knlw if theres a way to get round this since i dont have a homehub?

The answer is probably no then, there were promised updates to enable this, but they never seemed to happen. Since then there have been business changes with a different emphasis on how they "corner" the customer. Some say it should run as freeview but no PVR, but I haven't found anyone that says it will. I'm only saying this from searches on the internet, so not a definitive answer. SEARCH LINK

Ahh right. Thats no good then is it. PVR? Does that meen the use of recording because the parents arent too bothered about that they just want the box for the freeview
