isnt that illegal?!?!?!?!!!

Wouldn't have thought so, as the road was officially closed at the time?

Anyway, the police are the law, man! wink

Interesting reading and interesting pictures, thanks for sharing.

I wonder how many of those chaps had taken annual leave to be there raftl

But, as we know, I could go on all day about it, and it's not good for my blood pressure.

The pure comedy them attempting to arrest a judge outside the courts is just priceless.

That guy in Stanley Park was not beaten up by Police. Officers attended to give this guy help and he turned on them attempting to pinch & bite them.

All officers were cleared of any wrongdoing: http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/live...anley-park-cleared-cctv-100252-28171118/

THREE police officers exposed on CCTV apparently beating a man with a knife wound in a city park were cleared of any wrongdoing.

An investigation by Merseyside Police’s Professional Standards Department ruled the officers acted “lawfully and proportionately in self-defence.”

I think you're missing the point. They seem to be appealing for the UK to get out of the EU and for a clean-up in the fields of politics, police, judiciary, church and such like:
http://www.thebcgroup.org.uk

I gather that they are a splinter group of UKIP.

I hope I am not tarring them all with the same brush. They guy I heard talking was affiliated to this group but was talking about civil disobedience in general in a major way. He was bragging he had never paid his council tak or water rates and refused to pay hire purchase agreements, To top it all he said he worked for a bank. It made me sick. If councils collected the unpaid council tax there would be no need to cut local services. I read Liverpool has £160 million in unpaid council tax and Wirral has £50 million. I am really a pacifist, this just caught me on the wrong day!

Stirrers United. They're all just anarchists and most of them have money to fall back on when they eventually get fed up with protesting.
Someone once said that if you are not a Socialist at 24 your have no heart. If you are still a Socialist at 40 you have no brain. Something like that anyway.

I know kathryns post is wrong but she does have a point and its the reason why people feel the need to take matters into their own hands as such nowadays. My boss took a policeman to court over wrongly accusing him of speeding. The policeman didn't have a speed gun and 'lost' his note pad for 'evidence' my boss has no points on his licence and could have easily accepted 3 points and a £60 fine...he has instead spent the last 9 months in and out of court and £5000 in costs for a judge to rule 3 weeks ago and i quote 'i do believe this policeman to have wrongly accused you of speeding purely because he made a "judgement" of the type of car you drive, however even though i believe him to be guilty, as a judge in todays society i cannot side against a policeman' .... So these 'pillars of our community' can basically do as they like.... Its not really teaching society that they have 'equal rights' etc is it!

Oooh that must have hurt. Been in court myself on trumped up evidence "Drunk and Disorderly", when I was nothing of the sort. I just happened to be carrying a large bunch of keys, but that's another story.
Got fined 30 bob and lost my good record, gutted.
