Fuel protests planned at Shell, Ellesmere Port next Friday. About time someone stood up against the fuel gangsters!! Filled my van up at Tesco`s yesterday and cost me £96.00!!!! At least Dick Turpin wore a mask, not like these lot!!!

Doesnt matter what we do, its just gunna fizzle, out as usual and the prices will continue rise. People will be arrested and car will be seized be to no prevail.

Here's a interesting site that will help in someway understanding how fuel prices are reached, it also shows regardless of what government is in power, how the British peoples are ripped off compared with other countries around the world, There's also a handy little fuel tax calculator. http://www.abd.org.uk/fuel_tax.htm

I liked the map a lot for it provides user a feature that can help it find cheapest fuel point.

Personally I pass several petrol stations on my way home including the cheapest one in the area so its worth stopping at it rather than rip off BP or Texaco for example.

I did notice that shell started to drop the price per litre (1p at a time) after the protest. I have also noticed that they have started to put it up again...Ah well...come the revolution...lol

Unleaded petrol at ASDA on the Bromborough retail park today is 32.9 ........Cheapest Ive seen around the Wirral all this week x
