When started, history, when closed ? Especially Photos.

My uncle worked there when he left school before he emigrated to Canada.
My mum and I went to an exhibition last year at the Williamson Art Gallery.They had a lot of exhibits and we bought a book to send to Canada written solely about the T' Works.I am sure it will be easy to get hold of.
One of the Wiki members mentioned a few weeks back about a really good bookshop in Birkenhead.
