I would recomend all WikiWirral members to avoid Henlleys campsite. The staff are marvelous but the owners are stubborn, and totally closed to discussion!
We were accused of making a performance, which we weren't. We may have made a slight noise in the early hours but nothing that would necessitate our eviction.

Does this mean, anyone else that goes had better not mention Wikiwirral. Playing the devils advocate, why would a site owner deprive themselves of money if there was no due cause. Was you playing Billy Joel records

Any veteran camper who has frequented properly organised, well run camp sites will tell you that NO NOISE IS TO BE MADE AFTER 11PM, and also motor cars have to be left at the entrance from 11pm onwards till 7am next morning.

in all fairness, the moment i turned up to drop rude and plusone off i was shocked to see a security guard in a hut, the site looked very regimented, all tents and caravans all pointing the same way,everyone on their little patch, and woe betide if you strayed.
im sure the gang werent excessively loud just enjoying themselves having fun

I`d like to put my views across on this. I will be steering clear of such sites as this, in bed by 11pm blah blah! What a load of crap! I can`t see one having much fun with the worry of rules and regulations over ones head, camp directly on the castle grounds is what i`d do. A few of us used to camp in royden park woods, best camping experience yet, slip the car inbetween the barrier and the tree, drive directly through the woods, wake to horses going past and the sounds of nature. Amazing experience, but being under the rules of stuck up money grabbers just wrecks it for everyone
