I served my time at McIvors from'76-80.I think they finally closed about five years ago (might be wrong on the time).The building is there but it's something else now . The whole area ha changed beyond recognition .
Anyone have photos of Port Sunlight swimming baths? They were on the garden centre site but I don't know when they were demolished.
My school used to do its swimming lessons there in the mid 70s. Wondered where they'd gone but didn't make the connection with the garden centre til reading this.

One set owned a house called "Revelstoke" and used to rent rooms out. The other set lived directly opposite in a terrace house "no.20".
