does anyone know anything about the water tower at the top of stuart road/runs along greenway road. The houses in Stuart Road are older than the black and white semis in hawthorne road and at the bottom of hawthorne are 2 semis which are different from the rest of the road, I know that these replaced 2 semis which were bombed in the war (a child was killed in the corner semi). Does anyone know if the land of the water tower ran down to the bottom of hawthorne road? and was it a reservoir at all? Just wondering as the houses in Willowbank Road have a big gap in number order at bottom of Hawthorne Road. Thanks folks
