It is in West Kirby. If you enter the park through the entrance at the end of Dunraven road (off Westbourne road) its right there next to a tree just off the path next to the lake. If I get a chance tomorrow I will get a few more shots. There is room to get shots from all round it. I would have took more at the time but the park was busy and everyone would think I was a right weirdo lol.

I am walking that way shortly. I am half expecting to see a crowd of Wiki Wirralers congregated around it.

Here's one for your attention wiki,there is an old post box outside the Williamson art gallery in Birkenhead that bears the VR (Victora Regina) emblem so it has to be one of the very first post boxes in the country.That's if it's still there as I moved to Newcastle upon Tyne 10 years ago,hence I have no pictures sorry.Would defo be worth a look though.

that post box has a verticle slot for the mail to be put in the box {think this has been part of an earlier fread}
