I am wanting to go up and down Grange Rd and shopping precinct take pics of every shop there and also to match pics to older pics
Would anyone else be interested
I would suggest we take a laptop (I'll supply that} camcorders and cameras on which the old photos could be to compare
Will then put results on to dvd ( this where some of you techie guys can help out}
Will give dvd to Main library and Archives and to anyone who participates

If this took off try other main shopping areas of Wirral


More things I'd like to do but need to get contacts and permissions are

1 to go up the towers of the church top of Oxton Rd and the one by Caernarvon Castle pub and take pics of surrounding views
Would be grateful if anyone has contacts and can arrange visits

2 To go into the old Shaftesbury Boys Club (which became Atmosphere, Zoo, House of Pain)
This should interest History topic UE topic and Ghosthunters
(someone mentioned that the tv series sent a camera crew there to scope it out once with the intention of doing a vigil there}
I personally want to see what there may be left of the old Shafts (eg the basement or Madhouse as we used to call it)

So would be grateful for anyone who can get permission to go in

A really good idea, don't have much time but do remember a lot of shops and where they were located. Please contact if this is of any use to you.
