Once again, there will be lots to see and do as Hoylake Lifeboat holds it's annual Open Day on Bank Holiday Monday, 31sr August, 2009 at The Lifeboat Station, The Promenade, Hoylake.

Attractions include Air Displays, funfair, charity stalls, street theatre, raffles, classic cars and tours of the Lifeboat.

Admission is FREE, but please note, due to the amount of attendees, the Promenade will be closed to vehicles. A Park and walk is available from Hoylake Railway Station.

Just a quick heads up. Who is going today?.

As far as I know according to this weeks Globe, there is a sea rescue demonstration at 3pm. I presume this involves someone dangling out of a Sea king helicopter. The red Arrows will be there at 5pm. If anyone knows any different could they let me know. I will be gutted if I miss the Red arrows.

been poorly sick in bed.... then went to the croft cos i was bored...get the pics up dude

i went to this, the red arrows were amazing! got soaked watching them though. i would give anything to have a ride in one too!

What a damp squib. The red arrows where good but they had to finish early as the weather got too bad, then everyone legged it as the rain poured down. I have got some pictures too. I will get them from the camera in a bit.
