just got a map I'm trying to date It has on it New Brighton Tower Warren Station Dock stn (now Birkenhead North) Liscard and Poulton stn Workhouse Train lines and tramlines I think someone mentioned in a railway topic that Warren stn closed in 1917 Could it be older than 1917
That looks like a mixed up map, I can see parts that I thought were after 1920.

I haven't got my map to hand but I think the Poulton cum Seacombe 1909 map gives what is now Borough Rd (in Seacombe) as it's previous name of Victoria Road. This part isn't visable on your uploaded pic. Need to find out when it changed its name?
Also some of the roads along Liscard Road from the end near Borough/Victoria Rd ie: Bell Rd, Rappart Rd etc were built circa 1897 - so if these are on the map then it must be after say c1900.
Quote The name of the road was changed to Borough Road in 1918 at the request of the Fire Brigade, to avoid confusion with Victoria Road in New Brighton
thanks It has Victoria road seacombe on it so must be before 1918 not a bad find for 80p have framed it 30ins by 20 ins It is a Pharus map from Philip Son & Nephew ltd 45 to 51 South Castle St
something strange about the tranmere map,i live in marquis street and my house was built in the 30,s.your map shows the road as lord street which i have never heard before.anybody know anything about why this would be.have to wonder why the road would be there in the first place with no houses on it as it does not really lead to anywhere, that probably sounds stupid but i know what i mean lol.
