ROADS in Birkenhead will be closed temporarily while maintenance work is carried out on the Chester Street underpass.
Chester Street underpass northbound will be closed from its junction with Tunnel Road to its junction with Ivy Street from this Monday, January 12, until Sunday January 25.
Work will be carried out off-peak between the hours of 7pm and 7am to keep disruption to a minimum.
During the closure traffic will be diverted via Town Link Flyover, Argyle Street and Market Street.
HGVs will be diverted via Town Link Flyover, Argyle Street and Canning Street.
