wondering when this road was built and does any1 have any old or recent pics. i am only asking about as i lived there in 1A

Yelverton road was probably developed at arround the late 1890s to 1900.
There where hardly any houses in Well lane in 1890 except at the top on the left hand side where those flats are now, but by the 1901 census the top part of Downham Road and Well lane had houses there

Sounds about right, jimbob. Here's a couple of maps of the area. The older one is from between 1894 & 1900, the later one is 1912 or 1913. Quite a difference.
