George, i went to woody sec, i can't say i know Donny and i would have gone to the Craftmans once or twice. Its just strange that you have mentioned a couple of blokes I've known. I knew Chewy from Lairds, Eddie i met through a lad called Pat Stanton around 1973, that name might ring a bell, Eddie and Pat were mates from childhood i think.

vaguely recall a lad called Eddie Shields who lived in Collingwood st off Grange rd ( wouldnow be about 68 years old) and there was a Pat Stanton who lived in Oliver Place nickname (k)nucker? roughly same age or older.
I used to go to the craftsmans regularly on a Thursday or Saturday night roughly about 1965 to 1969

Urko was General Urko in plant of the apes series, probably was a toy as well. Pat had a bad corn and used to walk like him, Urko was a gorilla by the way.

does anyone remember Our Lady's infants and junior schools, price st Bhead near Our Lady's RC church from 1958-1964? Think both schools still there (friends reunited)
When I was about 14 I crowned Our Lady in the May day celebration at the church does anyone have any old photos?
I remember Canon Quinn often came to our assesemblies and I thought he was on fire - he wasn't he just had his ciggie in his pocket! wouldn't be allowed now!!
