http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Canon-OutletNo 450D's in there atm, but lots of 400's. The best thing is they are from Canon themselves and they come with 1 year warranties.

This might be of some use: http://www.canon.co.uk/eoscashback/£50.00 cashback if you buy a 450D. Also, PCPro apparently did a test on DSLR's recently, and found the Sony A200 to be somewhat better than the 450D and 1000D... Here is a decent deal on the A200, one to consider: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B0011U9U9AI did see one recently with a 18 - 70mm lens and a 70 - 200mm lens included, for around the same price, but can't remember where, if I do ill post it. It was most probably a special offer that has expired, hence I aint been able to track it down as yet...

Cheers for that matt but personaly if i was buying an lcd panal i`d go for a sony, but as its a camera i`d rather stick to someone who knows best, which in my own mind would be the likes of Canon, Nikon or Olympus. To me Sony are just adding yet another electrical product to their vast range. They dont know f.a about cameras. Its a toss up between a Nikon or a Canon and tbh i think its gonna be the Canon due to Nikons inferiour small lcd panel size and their uglyness in design

Well tbh mate although I see where you are coming from, and to an extent agree, Sony have been making digital camera's for over a decade now. One thing you should be aware of, is they bought a lot of Konica Minolta's assets and engineers when they went bust a few years back, so have gained years of experience from two giant's in the photography industry (not sure if you know, but Konica were the oldest still surviving photography company, from the 1870's). The best way to fing out though, is to see what people on the net are saying; unfortuantly however, people find a brand they are happy with and stick to it. Id say Nikon and Canon et al are the most reliable (in terms of image quality I mean), and Sony may have a couple of little gems along the line, but I think id go with your choice and play it safe.
