The alarm was raised at 1.40pm. A spokesman for Merseyside Fire and Rescue service said: "The first floor is well alight and there will be substantial damage". In June tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage was caused in a fire at the hotel which was being treated as suspicious. My mates company is doing the demo, Total Demolition Services, and he was telling me they have had to bring in the BIG 30 tonne machine to do it. They were meant to do it by hand and powertools as it is close to the road, but they wernt effective enough! Some structural surveyor eh? Kerching £££££££££ Council!!!! IF IT HAS A HOSE THEN IM YOUR MAN BETTER TO BURN OUT THAN FADE AWAY!
