Id be surprised if it was a 1.8 and you beat it, what the official 0-60 on you're car? Dont forget the K-Series is pretty hot engine to beat (o hot in fact the HG can't handle it haha  ).

The standard 1.8 is around 8.5 seconds btw.

All i could find Seems about the same, you wuld have had a slight edge then, it mustnt have been by much; deffo could'nt have been the 160VVC though as that would have left you standing (like it does most lol).

They did 3 ZRs, and dont confuse bhp for PS  The 1.4 was 101bhp (105ps) the 1.8 was 115bhp (120ps) and the VVC was 157bhp (160PS) Performance figures are pretty similar to the Coupe for the 1.8, but the VVC would easy have the edge. Only other thing in the Civics favour is its also nearly 150kgs lighter than the 3dr Rover.

Probably to do with weight and Aerodynamics? Coupe's are always faster because they are lighter and have less drag.

Even though they are a 1.5, they still make just over 100bhp, and are pretty lightweight.
The lack of torque in the engine also means they dont get masses of wheelspin when launching, though it is quite easy to bog down...

I just love the kick at 4,000RPM on them, So can't bare to think what a Vtec kick would be like, Me wants a Vtec engine when my Lsi engine gives up
