MERSEYSIDE Police has released this e-fit of a man they would like to trace in connection with a callous burglary at an elderly woman's home in Thingwall, Wirral.
At around 12.30pm on Friday, June 1 the man called at the house in Torrington Drive, Thingwall, claiming he was doing maintenance work nearby and had hit a pipe.
The 78-year-old resident was that he wanted to check whether her tap water was clear.
Once the man had left, the woman discovered that cash had been taken from the house.
The offender is described as white, in his 40s, around 5ft 10in tall with a medium build. The only problem is... they forgot to include the e-fit on the website looooool. Unless an o2 contract phone is what he looks like of course. Ill see if I can find one, if not ill take a photo from the paper. icWirral News Report
