A man thought to have been snatched from a Merseyside street has turned up safe and well in north Wales.
A member of the public raised the alarm after seeing the man - described as white and of large build - being forced into the back of a white van in Bootle.
Police believed the man's life could have been in danger after the incident last Monday.
The Merseyside force said the search had been called off but an investigation was ongoing.
The van was seen outside shops on Knowsley Road, near Burns Street, driving away towards the docks area.
Anyone with information should contact police or Crimestoppers. I dunno about him being well, ending up in Wales lol. BBC News Report
