Hi
We are living and working overseas, and will be returning to the Wirral for three weeks in August. Rather than stay in a hotel or with family/friends during that time, we would prefer to have our own space, and to that end we are looking to rent a furnished property with kitchen/wifi/TV/bathroom, etc. This can be a house, flat, apartment or even a static home.
Other than the likes of Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, etc., is anyone aware of any websites, search engines, or agencies (local or otherwise) through which it is possible to search for such properties? Alternatively, are there any specific properties which can be recommended?
Many thanks in anticipation.

Gumtree for sure.
Maybe vivastreet, freeads, ukclassifieds, loot, friday-ad. oodle, crazyoz etc.
I have seen ads on ebay.
I'm curious why you are discounting Airbnb?
