You may find an obituary in the Birkenhead News, unlikely there's a report on the funeral unless she was a dignitary, celebrity or victim of crime. No doubt in the1930s there still would have been plenty of undertakers to offer that service who never had motorised vehicles. In the early 50s I still have memories of the milkman's horse and cart.

Hi again
While searching the Cemetery records of section 15c grave 22 I have found an entry reading thus;
Buried March 21st 1940,Freda Lesley Muir,aged 4 months
4 Church Crescent ,Seacombe
Image 348 on microfilm.
I have no idea who this relates to or why.
Any ideas?
Cheers
Paul

Annie Jones was still alive in 1939 living at 12 Claughton Road with George Neish.
There are two possibilities.
First AJ died in 1940 and second 1946

Of all the Annie Jones that died around that time, the below is the only one with the correct age, born 1859.
JONES Annie age80 Birkenhead 8a 1215, December Quarter, 1939.

Just to add, though Annie is on the 1939 register, she may have died just after registration.

We've come across another name on the 1921census living with aAnnie senior and junior,George and Florence G Barton aged 20 working at Lever Bros.
We think Florence is Annie Neish,s( my nan)sisters daughter!
