I have 8 x 20 litre containers of waste engine oil I need taking to the Clatterbridge tip. They are clean and sealed and waste oil is accepted at Clatterbridge. Please contact me via private message with a price ...thanks Gerry

Does anyone know if you have to 'book' or get some sort of 'special permission' in advance to take waste oil to the tip since the pandemic. I could take these containers down one at a time in my car but not sure of the rules...can anyone help enlighten me? Thanks Gerry

Looks like you can just turn up with it, because there is no mention of a need to make a booking. If you use a van to take it, you will need to book in advance. https://recycleright.org.uk/item/used-engine-oil/

Thanks Mike ....I can only fit one in my car at a time, and don't fancy waiting in a long queue 8 times!! I'll wait until vans can get in easier!
