I can vaguely remember this car park ((in light blue on map) never being used except possibly 1950/60 for Hardings? laying a railway track and running a small size train on it, I think around one christmas time. Can anyone confirm whether this happened
I can remember the Ritz being taken over by the Ministy of supply during the war after suffering bomb damage and gray naval guns being stored in the car park waiting to go on ships..
