I'm glad we aren't going back into tier 3 after lockdown.

Wirral and the rest of the Liverpool City Region will be in Tier 2 of the Government's Covid Alert System from next Wednesday.

But from what I have seen the new Tier 2 is roughly the same as the old Tier 3, so nothing has changed?

There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. David Osland 2025

Hospitality will have to close in tier 3 except for delivery or takeaway. Indoor entertainment will have to stay closed. Also, no fans allowed to watch sport in tier 3.

The main one I was glad to see was being allowed to meet up with 6 outside your household, and I thought tier 3 only allowed you to meet up with only 1 but they are exactly the same.
