Anyone know how the council estate in Eastham got its name.

There is an old property called Mill Hey which is at the ends of Bramhall Drive and Pickemere Drive, its entrance is on New Chester Road, this owned much of the land. This in turn probably got its name from the Windmill which was where Eastham Nurseries are now
