Make sure you are connected to the correct WiFi, hence wrong password prompt.

Ensure no spaces are added?

If you can connect an ethernet cable, check for any firmware updates on the smart TV.

Failing the above, perform a factory reset via the menus.

Try re connecting one of your laptops to the WiFi again, just incase someone changed the password and your last to know...

On my TV I have a number of HDMI ports and a number of usb ports so I would check that you are trying to reach the
dongle on the correct port.

Hi egg

I see this everyday here's what to do

Menu on the remote > Support > Software Update........it connected to the "network server" your TV is now connected to the server and will installed an update.
After the update installed your TV will rebooted now go back into Network Settings and you should see you're connected to the internet!!! thumbsup

If it pre-fills the password field with stars, dots or anything, see if you can delete all of them before entering your password.

Just to confirm as its an easy assumption to make, you have tried the password on the laptops ?
This means forgetting the network connection in windows 10 so you have to enter the password again. If you can get on to the local WiFi and connected then we are looking at a connection or possible fault with the WiFi on the unit.

Ps. your not hooking up to next doors WiFi ?

Typically you will be asked to check for any firmware updates first which could resolve the problem.

If your Ethernet cable is not long enough you can

1. Use an coupler to join two cables to extend.
2. Use a hub or a switch to also extend two cables.
3. You could use an old router, it would need power but not on the internet to work as a connector, say using ports 1 and 2 to extend your cable.

Egg have you tried to google the make and model of your TV ? It may be a common fault with a basic work around. Other than connecting up a Ethernet cable and performing a firmware update you may have to get in touch with the manufacture or the shop from where it has been purchased.
