Thingwall Garden Centre has re-opened. It has a wide variety loads of lovely healthy plants. Brilliant red geraniums £2 each, cheaper than Homebase. Well worth a visit.

Was by Aldi heswall yesterday and popped in to look at the flowers and hanging baskets ....what an embarrassment to Aldi..such a waste of the efforts of the growers...dead and dying...

That really bugs me about them . Its the same in all the stores, none of the plants ever get watered, and after a few dry days theyre all wilted and dying . I asked once why they didnt bother, and they just said there wasnt anyone with any time to do it .
