Terrible and tragic car crash this morning in Rock Ferry. Young lad 16 years old walking to school killed when car left road and went into him, then crashed into wall.Driver badly hurt. Feel for the family , how life can change in an instant.R.I.P. Connor.

His Grandparents live over the road from me.The Family have all been there today they were absolutely distraught.I heard the emergency veichles but didn't think too much at the time.R.I.P Connor

I would like to amend my post concerning this tragic accident. Reading the Echo and hearing talk about how it happened and not knowing the full facts, it has been brought to my attention that I have presumed how it happened and I realize this is wrong of me. I apologize if I have offended anyone and know I am at fault in such a serious matter.

My thoughts go out to this young boys family. RIP Connor. I hope the driver is alright and recovers. So sad this news. Thanks for sharing COOLS.

Was in A and E myself this morning about 9:30 explains why several police cars there. Don't want to even begin to think how his family are feeling...

the Grandmother has just been over to see me,she wanted to see if it was in tonights echo it's not but should be in tomorrow,the rest of the family don't want her to see it but she wants to so she might come over tomorrow,she said it hasn't sunk in yet.
