Why does the size of the bin have a relation to frequency of collection? Suppose tbey think smaller bin fills quicker. More to do with size of family. 5 adults in our house and both bins full in 2 weeks. I am sure council experts can come up with the answer.....how about drones and we can fly stuff daily to the tip.

Why does the size of the bin have a relation to frequency of collection? The council are trying to reduce costs, the green bins go to landfill which they have to pay landfill tax on according to weight. Reducing your green bin capacity by frequency of collection or size they hope the users will attempt to create less rubbish. The official council version is that 40% of green bin is food waste, as there is a new bin for this you will need less green bin capacity. The 40% figure is complete fiction of course!
There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. Council seem to have u-turned on this, thank goodness! I'm a bit confused by the second to last paragraph “I keep reading misleading information being circulated that the council in Wirral is going to reduce the frequency of its household waste collections to three-weekly. That is completely and utterly incorrect,†added Cllr Brightmore.
