There was a red top engined nova that did the 0-60 run this weekend, got in the mid 5's. Had the 5-stud calibra alloys on too, was a very nice car.

Seeing as my Astra does 7 seconds, expect a Nova to get at least 5 seconds, they're seriously fast with those engines in, and is a weekend's work to pop it in. Do get the engine bay seam welded though.

the 2.0 turbo is usually used from the astra. the engine standerd is i think 205 bhp but can be turned very easily to about 300bhp. the only problem is getting grip with all that bhp. the 2.0 is alot more reliable than the 2.0 turbo, also none as a let

the c20let id the same engine as the c20xe but with a turbo and lowered compression ratios. if you go for the c20let it will be silly quick with 201bhp on tap standard. the c20xe is 147bhp out the box. personally i would go with the c20xe engine as the LET engine would just be two quick. but it would see of scoobys and the likes. end of the day its your choice and your money. but as stationmeik said make sure the engine bay has been seem welded and try to get one with struts or make them your first mod.
