I'm wondering how they make any profit? The free sites are awash with 50% off entrance fee vouchers and also totally free tickets- I hear these are given to shop owners who display posters.
Hard to say without knowing the capacity of the big top and how many artistes there are to share takings, but maybe some venues dont charge a lot, they have their own caravans, no animal bills, probably buy food etc in bulk, diesel tax deductable , and once they get their basic props I dont suppose they have to change them that often. Even half price, ticket revenue would still add up to a good amount . I would imagine they make a reasonable living if theyre touring to work much of the year .
My family went yesterday and myself and friend tonight. We were all delighted that this circus came to our town.It is well worth a visit.The big top is lovely with all individual comfortable seating. The live band were super and the performers very professional with beautiful tasteful costumes.
The whole site was clean and tidy and well managed.The show was different and refreshing.
