Anyone have any info on the reids factory around bidston docks? I think it was along the lines of the old tin box factory. Asking for a relative whose Dad worked there. Thanks for your help
Sorry this a bit late Ther was a metalwork shop behind the garage on the st James roundabout The entrance was in the area of the two blocks of houses at the top of Stanley road on the same side as the asda If my memory is right the factory was called Creeds and I think they made bread and cake tins Hope this helps
the reads tin factory you are asking about was on beaufort road next door to the air sea equipment factory.I worked there when i left school from 1960 to1964
