With demise of the tall brick chimney at the old oleo works/mill on the corner of Canning Street and Sandford Street in Birkenhead, I was thinking about how many tall brick chimneys Wirral has left.

Staying outside Cheshire I can only think of a few:-

The old Carr Lane clay works between Moreton and Meols. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.4000076,-3.1358003,42m/data=!3m1!1e3?entry=ttu

Birkenhead High School for Girls by Grosvenor Place, not very tall but it qualifies by style. https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@53.3...6thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu

The mill by the Irish Ferry https://earth.google.com/web/@53.40...36358d,35y,128.69344763h,59.97118936t,0r

The tunnel ventilation towers, but these aren't traditional chimneys.

Any more?
