Hi,
I'm posting this on behalf of a friend who is waiting for some floor tiling quotes to come back.
The job involved is in a restaurant kitchen based in Liverpool and currently has 70 square metres of commercial vinyl flooring laid which has been down for about 5 years or so, and its fading, and where the joints are, they are separating and lifting up causing a trip hazard. It currently being held together in places with duct tape. The old flooring will be lifted and any floor preparation required will be done. The subfloor is concrete. The tiles to be laid are 330mm x 330mm antislip ceramic tiles.
He would like to know what sort of ball park prices he would expect to pay just for the installation of the tiles laid in a straight set including grouting. Is there a price difference between wall tiling and floor tiling?
Thanks in advance

We charge between £25/£30 per sqmtr to include adhesive and grout for commercial work.
