With its very own trench the Birkenhead British Legion is looking for people to portray First World war soldiers and the women who were left at home to keep the community going.
Acting experience is not required. All welcome to get involved.
We are looking for people to perform or help with sets and props to become part of an historical event by reinventing a community set in 1917.

Have they spoken to the 22nd regiment of Foot renactors , they do WW1 renactments and have an air driven machine gun, they have been a number of times to Fort Perch Rock in both 1700s and WW1 uniforms and are a treat to see. http://www.22ndfoot.co.uk/
