I recall the helicopter with 'thermal imaging' camera being deployed over new ferry when a twelve foot pet python escaped, unsurprisingly, with negative results.
Nobody had told the cops that snakes are cold blooded!

I know the reason why it was out, it was looking for a guy with an air rifle and hunting knife on his back walking along the Wirral coastline at around 6pm on the 17th with a couple of kids and woman following.

birkenhead vs rockferry showdown like the old days. Wow fighting helicopters  i was close enough  OMG I have to quote this... One woman revealed troublemakers had even become so desperate but confident in her area that an ashtray full of cigarette stubs on her garden table was stolen by an opportunistic thief. PMSL only in birkenhead
