Does anyone remember the Church & Graveyard on New Chester Road by the Palace Motors. Does anyone know the name of it and why have they built on the grave yard. There was a back entrance to the pub from Canterbury Road where you went underneath the Church for Scouts etc... I am talking about 1950's
They must of built over the graveyard.

I think that it was a Methodist or Wesleyan chapel. It didn't have a 'Saint' name I can remember as a kid when it was derelict some of us ventured in & acquired a pile of receipts from the 1800's which all had Queen Victoria penny stamps on them. Don't remember a graveyard.
